Hi! Im Brooklyn and I help empower people to look and feel like the best versions of themselves, through creating hair that feels truly personal to each guest's unique style, hair texture and lifestyle.

Originally from the Toronto, Canada area, I have been creating beautiful hair in San Diego since 2011

​

I love creating dimensional color- beautiful browns, punchy reds and lived in blondes, modern grey blending or traditional grey coverage, as well as cutting using both scissors and razor. Finding ways to incorporate and customize modern trends, colors or haircut shapes to work for you and your style is what helps me stand out in a sea of hairdressers.  Creating something really special and unique to the person in my chair is what makes me most excited.

I've been working behind the chair since 2002 and in that time I have trained extensively in both color, cutting and styling. The Vidal Sassoon Academy (Santa Monica), Arrojo Academy (New York), L'Oreal Proffessionel Academy (Toronto, New York), assisting key stylists in styling hair for  LA Fashion Week to name a few. Education is key and I truly believe at 20+ years behind the chair that continuing to educate myself in everything "hair" continues to allow me to grow as an artist and small business owner. I take pride in being a lifelong student, always growing and evolving .

I have created this space as a reflection of our beautiful community, full of all of the bright and colorful characters that make our city so awesome.  I love to embrace your personal style and help you feel like the realest version of yourself. This space was created to celebrate that personal style, without judgement and with full inclusivity in mind.

When I'm not in the salon, I'm probably spoiling my dog Rocky or looking for something delicious to eat in our awesome town of San Diego.
